FortuneBox partners with AssetPlus, a SEBI-registered platform, for execution of all mutual fund transactions. While FortuneBox provides investment suggestions and facilitates user interaction, the actual order placement, processing, and settlement of mutual fund units are carried out through the AssetPlus platform.

All app-related investment execution services, including order routing, payment processing, unit allocation, and redemption, are provided by AssetPlus. FortuneBox does not directly execute any transactions with the Asset Management Companies (AMCs).

Terms and Conditions of Fortune Box related to investing in mutual funds and other financial products are valid for Fortune Box users as well.

Access to FortuneBox and Restrictions

We are very happy to have you make use of our Platform and its Services and to facilitate an enjoyable experience. We grant you a ​nonexclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform solely for your personal use. You agree that you will only use FortuneBox ​for your own personal use, and not on behalf of or for the benefit of any third party. Users can create an account on behalf of their ​children and invest through the Platform. It is important that when you use this Platform, you warrant that you will not use the ​Platform for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. You understand and agree that if you ​violate any of these Terms and Conditions, your authorization to use this Platform automatically terminates.

Using FortuneBox in any way means that you agree to all of these Terms, and these Terms will remain in effect while you use the ​Platform. If you don’t agree to all of the following, you may not use or access the Platform in any manner.

You represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

You, the User, acknowledge and agree that our platform is the sole property of Reaper Analytics LLP. We would like to ensure ​a great experience and hence at its discretion, FortuneBox may offer additional Platform Services and/or products, or update, ​modify or revise any current content and Services, and this Agreement shall apply to any and all additional Services and/or ​products and any and all updated, modified or revised Services unless stated otherwise. Reaper Analytics LLP reserves the ​right to cancel and cease offering any of the Services and/or products on offer on the Platform. You, further acknowledge, ​understand and agree that Reaper Analytics LLP shall not be held liable for any such updates, modifications, revisions, ​suspensions or discontinuance of any of our Services and/or products on the Platform. When you continue to use the Services ​provided, after such posting of any updates, changes, and/or modifications your acceptance of such updates, changes and/or ​modifications implies acceptance of the same. We recommend that you frequently review this Agreement and any and all ​applicable terms and policies to ensure you are aware of all terms and policies currently in effect. Should you not agree to the ​updated, revised or modified terms, you must stop using the provided Services forthwith.

Furthermore, you understand, acknowledge, and agree that the Services offered shall be provided “AS IS” and as such Reaper Analytics LLP shall not assume any responsibility or obligation for the timeliness, missed delivery, deletion and/or any failure to ​store user content or personalization settings.

Creating an Account on the FortuneBox Platform

The Platform is a technology first investment management platform that believes in providing every Indian the access to right ​investment suggestions.

Any and all visitors to our Platform shall be deemed as “users” of the Services provided within for the purpose of this TOU. The ​Platform works on a self-serve model and the mobile application is available on Android and IOS.

To access the Platform, you are required to sign up for an account and select a password. User will get phone number/OTP based ​login access to the app. The app requires user to go thru eKYC process (including video KYC) in order to invest thru our app. KYC is ​mandatory as per SEBI requirements.

Ensuring access by creating an account on the Platform:

For account creation, only the user’s name, phone numbers and OTP are collected.

Nominee name, DOB, Place of birth and % of benefits for each nominee

There is so much that you can do on the Platform through your account:

Users can invest thru app in one or more mutual funds (we help them to invest in one of our Growth Baskets, which is a basket ​of index mutual funds
Users can make payment thru the app
Users can set up recurring investment (SIP – Systematic Investment Plan)
Users can make lumpsum (one time investment)
Users can cancel SIP
Users can edit SIP details (like SIP date, SIP amount, etc)
Users can redeem their investments (either full or partial)
Users can view their total investment details like amount invested, % of returns, etc thru the dashboard
Investors can see individual investment objective-based details in the dashboard and invest more in that objective if they like ​to invest
Users can download reports like Capital Gain, etc
Users can get educated thru our blogs/video tutorials/information page in the app (financial literacy)

Services provided on the Platform

We provide only incidental advisory services as allowed by SEBI for MFD license holders
We help customers choose the right mix of mutual funds to invest to match their investment objectives and their risk tolerance
We show calculated values in terms of annual returns of their investments, amount invested, rate of return, etc
This is all factual information we show in the mobile app to customers
The use of information shared by user

Customers profile data will be used to personalize the offerings and personalize the message in the app

We use customer profile data for our internal analysis purposes only to understand the investment pattern behaviour like money ​invested by age group, etc so that we can improve our services further using these insights. No data is shared or sold with any ​vendor or partner outside of Reaper Analytics LLP for commercial purposes

Payments made by user

We do not charge any fee to customers to invest thru our platform. It’s 100% free service. We earn a small commission from ​mutual fund houses we invest in. So there is no financial transaction between FortuneBox and the user.
We facilitate the payment for the purchase of mutual funds by our customers and mutual fund houses where the money is ​directly debited from customers bank account and directly deposited to AMC by RazorPay payment gateway.

Permissions needed by the app to function in an effective manner;

Permission needed to read OTM SMS.
Permission needed to photo gallery in order for customer to set/use their own photos in the app.

Cancellation / refund policies applicable to users:

As we do not charge any fee to customers for any transactions or signup or account maintenance, there is no concept of ​cancellation or refund.
Money invested thru us, FortuneBox, is directly deposited into respective AMCs for the purchase of mutual funds assets.

Every registered User’s registration data and various other personal information are strictly protected by the FortuneBox Privacy ​Policy. As a registered User, you herein consent to the collection and use of the information provided, including the transfer of ​information within India for storage, processing or use by FortuneBox and/or our subsidiaries and affiliates.

Proprietary Rights

You understand and agree that FortuneBox ‘s Services and any essential software that may be used in connection with our ​Services (“Software”) shall contain proprietary and confidential material that is protected by applicable intellectual property rights ​and other laws. Therefore, you agree not to alter, modify, lease, rent, loan, sell, distribute, transmit, broadcast, publicly perform ​and/or created any plagiaristic works which are based on FortuneBox Services (e.g. Content or Software), in whole or part.

FortuneBox permits you to make use of our Software, as long as you do not, and shall not, allow any third party to duplicate, alter, ​modify, create or plagiarize work from, reverse engineer, reverse assemble or otherwise make an attempt to locate or discern any ​source code, sell, assign, sublicense, grant a security interest in and/or otherwise transfer any such right in the Software. ​Furthermore, you agree not to alter or change the Software in any manner, nature or form, and as such, not to use any modified ​versions of the Software, including for the purpose of obtaining unauthorized access to our Services. Lastly, you also agree not to ​access or attempt to access our Services through any means other than through the interface which is provided by FortuneBox for ​use in accessing our Services.

You herein acknowledge, understand and agree that all of the FortuneBox trademarks, copyright, trade name, service marks, and ​other FortuneBox logos and any brand features, and/or product and service names are trademarks and as such, are and shall ​remain the property of FortuneBox. You herein agree not to display and/or use in any manner the FortuneBox logo or marks.

You understand that we own FortuneBox. These Terms don’t grant you any right, title or interest in FortuneBox, or our trademarks, ​logos, and other intellectual property.

If You Believe Content Available Through the Platform Infringes A Copyright, Please Provide The Following Information To The ​Person Identified below:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent;
Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed;
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of the infringing activity and that is to be ​removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
Information regarding how we may contact you (e.g., mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address);
A statement that the copyright owner or its authorized agent has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner ​complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
a. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and made under penalty of perjury, and, if an agent is ​providing the notification, a statement that the agent is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is ​allegedly infringed.

Acceptable Use Policy

Due to the global nature of the internet, through the use of ​our network, you hereby agree to comply with all local rules relating to online conduct and that which is considered acceptable ​Content. Make sure that you use FortuneBox in a manner that complies with the law. If your use of FortuneBox is prohibited by ​applicable laws, then you aren’t authorized to use FortuneBox. We can’t and won’t be responsible for you using FortuneBox in a ​way that breaks the law.

You also agree that you will not use FortuneBox in a manner that:

Is fraudulent.
Jeopardizes the security of your FortuneBox account or anyone else’s (such as allowing someone else to log into FortuneBox ​as you, or sharing your account or password with someone);
Attempts, in any manner, to obtain the password, account, or other security information of any other user;
Decompiles, reverse engineers, or otherwise attempts to obtain the source code or underlying ideas or information of or relating ​to FortuneBox.
Replicates, duplicates, copies, trades, sells, resells nor exploits for any commercial reason any part, use of, or access to Fortune Box Platforms.

Indemnity

Reaper Analytics LLP is not liable to indemnify any user for any financial loss suffered by the said user by using the services ​on the Platform.

Terminating Your Account

The account created on the Platform and the information provided on the Platform is maintained on the Platform for our auditing ​processes even after the user discontinues the use of the account.

At any point, subject to the conditions of the specific mutual fund, the user can discontinue the payment of a specific SIP. It would ​also be the responsibility of the user to ascertain that where they wish to discontinue a SIP, automatic payment process be ​cancelled by them.

Changes to the Terms

We are constantly trying to improve our products and services, so these Terms may need to change along with https://fortunebox.in/. ​We reserve the right to change the Terms at any time, but if we do, we will bring it to your by sending you an email, and/or by some ​other means.

If you don’t agree with the new Terms, you are free to reject them; unfortunately, that means you will no longer be able to use ​https://fortunebox.in/. If you use https://fortunebox.in/ in any way after a change to the Terms is effective and notice has been provided, ​that means you agree to all of the changes.

Except for changes by us as described here, no other amendment or modification of these Terms will be effective unless in writing ​and signed by both you and us.

No Warranties

https://fortunebox.in/ is provided to you on an “as-is” basis. This means we provide it to you without any express or implied warranties ​of any kind. Any information or material downloaded or otherwise obtained by way of FortuneBox services or software shall be accessed at ​your sole discretion and sole risk, and as such you shall be solely responsible for and hereby waive any and all claims and causes ​of action with respect to any damage to your computer and/or internet access, downloading and/or displaying, or for any loss of ​data that could result from the download of any such information or material.

Assignment

You may not assign, delegate or transfer these Terms or your rights or obligations hereunder, or your https://fortunebox.in/ account, in ​any way (by operation of law or otherwise) without our prior written consent. We may transfer, assign, or delegate these Terms ​and our rights and obligations without consent.

Choice of Law

These Terms are governed by and will be construed under applicable laws of India, without regard to the conflicts of law provisions ​thereof.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of these Terms shall be resolved through following methods:

For any issues, customers first must reach out to our support team at support@fortunebox.in and give us sufficient time to resolve ​the issue.

An escalation that will be addressed by FortuneBox representative.
Executive escalation that will be addressed by a senior executive of FortuneBox.
Consumer court at customer discretion within jurisdiction of Hyderabad, Telangana
Any dispute that remains unresolved through the above mechanism shall be finally settled by arbitration in Hyderabad, ​Telangana, India, in accordance with the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. For all purposes of these Terms, you ​consent to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

No Joint Venture

You hereby acknowledge and agree that if you are an employee, agent, partner, or joint venture of Reaper Analytics LLP, and ​you do not have any authority of any kind to bind us in any respect whatsoever.

Waiver

The failure of either you or us to exercise, in any way, any right herein shall not be deemed a waiver of any further rights hereunder.

You acknowledge and agree that if you are an employee, agent or partner of FortuneBox, you are not entitled to any additional ​service or favour apart from what is provided to all other users.

Entire Agreement

You agree that these Terms are the complete and exclusive statement of the mutual understanding between you and us, and that ​it supersedes and cancels all previous written and oral agreements, communications and other understandings relating to the ​subject matter of these Terms.
